Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been married for 25 years. To commemorate their anniversary, the Hollywood star sent a touching message to his wife on Instagram. Even so, the two did not spend the day together.

Michael Douglas (81) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (56) celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on November 18. Douglas posted a colorful photo of the couple on Instagram. “Happy 25th wedding anniversary, my darling Catherine. Who would have thought? With love, Michael,” wrote the 81 year old man.
The photo is from 1999 and therefore from before her wedding. Zeta-Jones wore a yellow sleeveless dress, Douglas wore a navy suit. The photo was taken at the premiere of the comedy film “The Muse”.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones married on November 18, 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York’s Central Park. The celebration is said to have cost the equivalent of 2.5 million euros. Their son Dylan (25) was born three months before the wedding, daughter Carys (22) followed three years later.
