39 women killed so far this year, 1,334 since records began
So far this year, 39 women have been killed by their partner or ex-partner; and there are 1,334, since in 2003, when registration began, his murder left 289 minors orphaned. Furthermore, 87 women have been victims of social, sexual, indirect or familial femicides since January 2022, the year this figure began to be collected; and 65 minors have been murdered by indirect sexist violence since data existed, 12 years ago.
