46 minutes of music at the Puerta del Sol with Amaia, Dellafuente, Israel Fernández and Yerai Cortés | Culture

The show lasted 46 minutes. At eight in the afternoon, Israel Fernández took the stage, dressed to the nines and with his hair waving in the wind. “If I had control in my heart, I would leave you right now,” he sang. Flamenco guitar, cajon and two choirs with handclaps and tap dancing accompanied him, along with the stony silence of the audience, in a presentation that resonated with the echoes of the buildings of Madrid’s Puerta del Sol. It was the opening of the celebration of Apple’s 40 years in Spain. He sang for 10 minutes, enveloped in artificial white smoke, and which ended with a general “Olé” from those present.

At 8.10 another stage was lit, identical, but at the other end of the technology company’s shop in Sol. A piano and Amaia’s hands appeared on the big screens, followed by an extremely close-up of her face. His sweet voice sang: “The hands of my love are embroidering a cloak with wallflower agreman and water cloak.”. The Madrid esplanade was packed. At least two hours earlier they had fenced off the perimeter to control capacity and those returning from work said they were angry at the closure of the metro station.

Before the singer’s first song finished, there were already six of them on the center stage. singers from behind dressed in white, without shelter from the eight degrees it was, but they would have warmed up quickly with so much applause and emotion. They accompanied guitarist Yerai Cortés, who began playing guitar in the dark. Above the people, a huge robotic arm holding an iPhone flies through the air recording the event show. “Neither Italian ports, nor Parisian cafés”, the women sang, cheered by Cortés’ strings.

Minutes 8:25 and Amaia returns to the scene. Dance and dance in a corridor surrounded by the audience. He sang: “You make me walk three feet off the ground. Always in my head, even if you’re far away.” When the song ended Nanai, sitting on the steps of the stage, people began to shout for Dellafuente.

“Goodnight Madrid!” said the most applauded singer of the evening. Groups of young people wearing sweatshirts and scarves danced and sang all the songs: 13 questions, Romero Santo, Yesterday. The frozen bodies moved wrapped in scarves and with their hands in their pockets. Eight degrees hit hard. The urban artist sang for 10 minutes and Amaia’s third appearance was to begin with shouts of “another, another, another!” But there she was, in a black suede dress, her long hair down, whistling into the microphone and singing “There’s a park in my Pamplona that I want to remember; I blossomed with the cherry trees in that beautiful place.”

8:41 minutes. Yerai Cortés and his six fellow singers appear on the balconies above the main stage. They close the concert in exactly five minutes, with a play of lights that dazzles the entire audience who looks up. A Spanish music party in the center of Madrid lasted 46 minutes and ended with influencers and VIP guests at another party – this time not open to the public – at the Manzanita store.
