Part of a bridge just inaugurated collapse in southwest China province Sichuan. This bridge connects the national highway to Tibet. According to local authorities, there were no casualties. The Hongqi Bridge, 758 meters long, was closed to traffic on Monday 10 November after cracks appeared and due to subsidence in the mountainous area. Construction finished earlier this year.
