Dead man found at Wiesloch train station
A witness found the dead man at Wiesloch train station in the early hours of the morning. The police are investigating it.
The body of a man was found near the train station in Wiesloch (Rhein-Neckar district). A police spokesman said the dead man was found by a witness shortly before 6 a.m. on the footpath and bike path between the parking garage and the bus and train stations. Forensic science is on scene and is examining the body. It is still unclear when the man died.
The victim who died suffered injuries. Whether the man died from these injuries and whether the injuries were the result of a violent crime remains under investigation, the spokesperson said. A spokesperson did not initially provide further details.
According to police, operations at Wiesloch/Walldorf train station were not affected by the operation.
