Milan, November 12 (askanews) – Video preview of “Bugiardo”, Zzola’s new unreleased song, a song characterized by a continuous melody on the piano, pleasant and melodic from the first listen, is available digitally (Milano Town Records/Distrokid).
The lyrics to “Liar” come from a real relationship experienced. “In writing the story – said Zzola – I unconsciously felt like a devil making fun of an angel, this combination reminded me of a film I had seen in the past, ‘The Ninth Door’ which tells the story of a devil and an angel that ended in a medieval castle located in France called Chateau de Puiver.”
The image of Puivert Castle and the plot of the film were a source of inspiration for me, from this the idea of shooting a video in the same castle was born to give depth to the song and create a plausible video story. For days we have been trying to contact the owner of the castle – added Zzola – to understand whether it would be possible to shoot a video there. Our efforts seemed in vain, we were unable to contact the castle but, determined to go ahead, my producer and I headed straight for the location, traversing the French countryside of Toulouse until we arrived at Puivert. We hired a local videographer on site and ventured towards the Castle walls. What happened after this trip can be seen without certainty by looking at the images in the video.”
Zzola, stage name Leonardo Cazzola was born on June 4 2006 in Pavia.
