Ania and consumers are launching insurance education again

A society that has more information about risks and how to protect itself from the uncertainties of life and today’s challenges (from climate to cyber risks, through the aging of the population, means having a more aware population and improving people’s quality of life. However, awareness must be built starting from the younger generation. The commitment of Ania and her Foundation goes in this direction to promote, especially among the new generation, a culture of prevention and protection in a low-insured country such as Italy which is among the lowest countries in Europe in terms of insurance coverage. damages.

On November 12, 2025, on the occasion of Insurance Education Day, hundreds of Italian students participated in the Ania Consumer Forum initiative dedicated to the promotion of insurance culture and financial well-being. In the morning, an online conference was held “Does money make us happy? What is financial well-being and how insurance can improve it”, while in the afternoon it continued with the seminar “Insurance and Statistics: for Stem Teaching” aimed at teachers.

Focus on children and teachers

This activity is part of the eighth edition of the “Financial Education Month” program (1-30 November 2025) carried out by the Financial Education Activity Planning and Coordination Committee.

In total, during this month, the Ania-Consumers Forum will hold six events dedicated to insurance education and outreach: four educational conferences for high schools and two seminars for teachers.

At the same time, in November, the Ania Foundation continued its “Better Now. Prevention is a healthy habit” tour, involving more than 1,500 students from schools in Turin, Milan and Naples, to spread a culture of prevention and a correct lifestyle among the younger generation. An innovative project that develops in the classroom, designed to encourage participation and interaction with children.
