November 13 attacks: Abdellah Chouaa, who “forever bears the label of terrorist”, speaks out

When he spoke about the situation, he described himself as “accused” or “accused.” But never condemned. In June 2022, at the end of the historic trial over the November 13 attacks, Abdellah Chouaa was nonetheless found guilty of criminal association in connection with a terrorist enterprise (AMT) and sentenced to four years in prison, three of which were suspended. Of the 20 defendants, he was the one who received the lightest sentence. Which he doesn’t care about.

“I cannot accept the word terrorist”, he stressed ten years after this event which would remain “imprinted in him until the end of his days”. Since the verdict, this is the first time the 44 year old man who was one of the “little hands” in the case has spoken publicly.
