Fiera Milano establishes itself as an international hub. Revenue of +26% in 9 months

Fiera Milano confirms its appeal and strengthens its role as an international hub for major travel events. These include the Cphi, dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry, which will return to Milan next year, as well as Emo (machine tools), scheduled for 2017, and the World Gas Conference, assigned to the capital of Lombardy for the first time in 2028.

The exhibition group also continues its internationalization strategy with the launch of Host – one of the most important proprietary events – also in the United States from 2027, thanks to the agreement reached with Nafem (North American Food Equipment Association).

Two development lines that – combined with the growth of the conference and services segments – allowed Fiera Milano to close the first nine months of the year with revenues of 231.8 million euros, an increase of 25.7% compared to 2024 (which, despite being an even and therefore traditionally weaker year, was a record year) and by 30.4% compared to the last odd year, 2023.

In addition, the strategic choice to strengthen the proposal by attracting international trade fairs and conference events to Milan, as well as by holding sports, music and arts events, is the right answer to the need to deseasonalize the calendar of events and activities. “In the first nine months of 2025 Fiera Milano confirmed a solid and sustainable growth trajectory, demonstrating a valid business model capable of generating value continuously”, explains CEO and general manager Francesco Conci.

Gross operating margin (Ebitda) rose 14.7% to 71.6 million, and net profit by 9.5% to 17.1 million. The net financial position shows cash availability of 113.8 million (77.8 million at end-2024), with more than 35 million in liquidity generated in the nine months. The results obtained “exceeded expectations”, we read in a note released at the end of the board of directors meeting: “While the macroeconomic context is still characterized by elements of uncertainty and volatility, which have led to a slowdown in some market segments, the diversification of the exhibition portfolio and the solid performance of other business lines, in particular the conference and services segments, have been more than enough to offset these dynamics, thereby supporting the overall profitability of the group”. Therefore, the outlook remains positive: «We look to the fourth quarter with confidence, and confirm the 2025 guidance, with forecast revenue between 350 and 370 million euros and Ebitda between 115 and 125 million», added Conci.
