That same year, in another email, he told a friend, “I know how shady Donald is.” Obsessed with the idea of damaging his reputation, a few months after Trump’s announcement to run in the 2016 presidential election, Epstein offered a private photo of “Donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen” to a New York Times reporter. In fact, the photos never surfaced, but the journalist recalled: «Epstein told me that Trump was so focused on looking at the young woman in the swimming pool that he slammed the door».

A few months ago the president told reporters that he broke up with Epstein in early 2000 after he “stole” several girls who worked at the Mar-a-Lago spa from him. Among them, he said, was Giuffre, the powerful accuser who committed suicide in April. How could it be possible to break up with the financier and then spend time, years later, at his house with the former masseuse? The decline of the former Prince Andrew, one of the visitors to the minor’s harem, and whose emails have emerged, is linked to Giuffre. In 2011, Andrea wrote to Epstein “I can’t take it anymore”, confirming friendly ties with the pedophile. It now awaits a hearing by the House of Representatives, which may vote as early as next week on a bipartisan request to make public all the investigative files into Epstein, including the FBI report. Trump warned Republicans that anyone who votes for Trump is either “very evil or stupid.” But Democrats claim that “at least between 40 and 50” Republicans in the House are ready to vote yes. If that’s the case, it’s a sign that Trump no longer controls the party.
