Additionally, the group reported a short-term commercial pipeline of about 77 billion concentrated, in line with its risk reduction strategy, in developed geographies where Webuild has a consolidated presence, including Europe, Australia, North America and the Middle East. Commercial activity accelerated in the third quarter, with a significant increase in submitted tenders awaiting award, which rose to 18.5 billion compared to 11 billion euros in July 2025. Added to this were more than 14 billion tenders in the preparation phase, the majority of which are expected to result in 2026.

The rating was upgraded to bb+ demonstrating “solidity of the business profile, strengthening of the financial structure and broad visibility regarding future earnings recognized by the rating company”, it added. On the work frontamong other things we highlight the inauguration Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Damthe largest hydroelectric project ever built in Africa; Lot 2 of the Riachuelo system was delivered in Argentina, the largest wastewater treatment plant in Latin America, intended to significantly improve the quality of life of residents of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area.

In Italy the railway section between Bicocca and Catenanuova was activated, the first high-capacity line in Sicily “which represents the real beginning of a more efficient system of connections between the island and the rest of Europe”. Among the most significant milestones recorded for the ongoing project are the completion of the Casalnuovo Tunnel on the Naples-Bari section of the high-speed line, the first in Italy to be excavated in a hyperbaric environment, and the completion of the first tunnel between Italy and Austria at the Brenner base tunnel. In recent months, three additional caissons have also been placed for the New Breakwater in Genoa, including the first of a larger breakwater.
