After the shooting in Tamm: The prosecutor’s office was searched

After shots were fired in Tamm in the Ludwigsburg district in May, the Stuttgart prosecutor’s office was also searched. The Heilbronn Prosecutor’s Office said that seven employees from one of the investigative agencies’ areas were suspected of committing bribery and were also said to have violated official secrets. An arrest warrant has been issued against one of them – according to information from the German Press Agency, a sergeant – and two alleged clients.

A man was injured in a shooting in Tamm. Two suspects were arrested in the Netherlands in early October and detained. The two men, who were 26 and 27 at the time of the crime, are being investigated for attempted murder.

Data is passed to third parties

They are accused of shooting and wounding a twenty-three year old on the evening of May 12th. Their homes in Utrecht and the Dutch province of Limburg were searched. According to police reports, the injured man worked in the security industry.

According to further information from the prosecutor’s office, individual employees of the so-called support area of ​​the Stuttgart prosecutor’s office are said to have provided data to third parties without permission. Apart from the suspect’s workplace, their personal addresses were also searched. Investigators emphasized that the suspects were not prosecutors.

The prosecutor’s office did not provide further details. However, links to other crimes are also possible. The special “Frost” commission is conducting “extensive investigations into several other crimes,” he said.
