New record low: Americans are deeply dissatisfied with Trump’s policies

Approval ratings for Donald Trump’s policies continue to decline. Now a new low has been reached.

According to a new poll conducted by AP, support for Donald Trump’s administration has dropped significantly. Only 33 percent of those surveyed rated his work positively.

This figure represents a decrease of ten percentage points compared to a similar survey in March. According to the AP, there has been a particularly large decline among Republicans who previously strongly supported Trump: only 68 percent support Trump, compared with 81 percent in the spring.

Decline in all policy areas

Trump also lost massive support among independent voters. According to the Independent, approval of this group fell from 38 percent in March to just 25 percent. Experts see this as a warning signal for Republicans ahead of the upcoming congressional elections.

The survey also shows how controversial Trump’s economic policies are. Only 33 percent of respondents considered his actions positive, while 67 percent rejected them.

The high cost of living is a hot topic

According to the Independent, Trump’s tariffs have raised the prices of many products such as coffee and bananas, increasing widespread dissatisfaction. The Democratic Party is increasingly using the issue of rising costs of living as a campaign issue.

Trump also lost support on health policy and migration issues. While his approval rating for health care only fell slightly to 34 percent, that for immigration policy fell to 42 percent from 49 percent in March.
