Work accident on a golf course: a man is seriously injured
A man is standing in front of a lawnmower when the tractor starts moving. Then what happened?
A worker was seriously injured at a golf course in Freigericht (Main-Kinzig district). Police headquarters in Offenbach said the 58-year-old man was trapped between a tractor and a lawn mower. He was flown to the clinic by rescue helicopter.
Based on the investigation so far, the tractor started moving for no apparent reason and struck the lawnmower where the man was standing. Based on police information, the tractor driver was suspected of being slightly drunk. It was initially unclear whether he was inside the tractor when the accident occurred. An investigation was initiated against the 34-year-old man for negligent bodily harm.
