A real nightmare trip Matteo Richetti who, on his return from Brescia, became the target of thieves. The leader of the group Action in the Room actually had two thefts: one at Florence station, the other at Roma Termini station. In short, an experience to forget.
According to the DPR member’s own statement, the incident occurred last Sunday, when he was returning home after attending a party. “We came back from Brescia, with Calenda and Rosato, because we attended the birthday party of our colleague and friend Benzoni. And we returned to train“, the man reportedAdkronos. Richetti explained that his dog was also with him, and precisely to try to refresh the animal, he got off the train at Florence station, taking advantage of the stop. “I got off the train, five minutes later got back on and my backpack was gone. Inside was an iPad and other personal belongings. In short, quite a bit of stuff. I called the conductor and he told me that, unfortunately, it was a dynamics that often occur during a stopover in Florence”. It was a complete surprise, but it didn’t end there.
Arriving in Rome, it was time to get into the car that had stopped at the station, when a young man opened the door and took Richetto’s trolley, running away with the loot. Luckily, the politician was immediately helped by the driver who was chasing the criminal. “I got off the train, five minutes later I got back on and my backpack was gone. Inside was an iPad and other personal belongings. In short, there was little. I called conductor and told me that, unfortunately, this often happens during stopovers in Florence”he said.
In short, the episode in which Richetti is the protagonist reveals a lot about his serious condition insecurity where our country is located, is now under the rule of criminal gangs. “By God, there were worse and in the end we laughed about it. And Calenda even joked: ‘Matteo, maybe with Russia we exaggerate…’. Jokes aside, unfortunately the stations remain dangerous areas no matter how much effort is made to clean them”, concluded Matteo Richetti.
“First they stole his suitcase on the train. When we arrived, they opened the van we were traveling in and someone stole Richetti’s suitcase, poor thing.
Luckily the driver stopped him. And the police told me: ‘We’re not there let’s catch it Besides, why are we arresting them?”Carlo Calenda also commented, as reported National newspaper.
