The body of a 51 year old woman, Nunzia Cappitelliwas discovered in the afternoon in his apartment in Piazza Sant’Alfonso, in the Neapolitan neighborhood of Piscinola. At 4:15 p.m., a friend who went to visit him saw the door ajar, went in and found him dead on the ground. There was a glaring wound on his head and next to it was a broken glass bottle.
Police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Based on what we learned, it cannot be ruled out that it was also a murder of a woman because there were marks on the body that could lead to a possible violent death. Flying squad investigators and medical examiners are at work.
The separated woman had been in a relationship with the man who found her dead yesterday. This is a twenty-one year old man from the province of Naples. According to the police, there was an argument with the young man and the 21 year old was reported by the woman. Therefore, a code red had been activated: the man should not approach Nunzia.
A “quiet” person who wants to integrate into the parish community. That’s how Don Pasquale Fioretti, parish priest of the church of San Giovanni and Sant’Alfonso, spoke about the 51-year-old man who was found dead in a house in Piscinola, Naples.
A house on the ground floor, which is on Piazza Sant’Alfonso, where the woman again lived alone for several months and is located a few steps from the parish. The priest said he last saw him on Monday. “When he came to church he was eager to exchange words – he added – I left at 1pm and everything was calm, then when I came back in the afternoon I found out the news”. According to some of his neighbors, he was a “discreet, though friendly” person.
