A 68-year-old man was seriously injured in an accident on the federal highway in Waren (Müritz). He was the passenger of a 49-year-old man who ignored another car at the intersection, a police spokesman said. The two cars collided with each other. The woman was trapped in the car and had to be freed by emergency services. He was taken to hospital. The man and one of two people in the other car suffered minor injuries.
