France XV must raise its head. Beaten heavily by South Africa in the autumn tour opener last Saturday (17-32), which reopened the wounds from the last World Cup, the Blues resume their second game this Saturday evening against Fiji. A duel is within their reach but could be dangerous considering the Fiji team’s first match was against England last weekend.
Fabien Galthié has decided to make some changes to his team. Injured, Baptise Erdocio, Emmanuel Meafou and Nolann Le Garrec were replaced by Jean-Baptiste Gros, Romain Taofifenua and Maxime Lucu. Out of the group against South Africa, Grégory Alldritt started in the third row in place of Mickaël Guillard, who was also injured. Finally, Nicolas Depoortere replaced Gaël Fickou in the middle.
This autumn tour match between French XV and Fiji can be followed this Saturday at 21:10. on TF1.
