The trial of lawyer Massimo Lovati, who was tried as a “person of interest” by Brescia prosecutor Claudia Moregola in the dossier investigating alleged corruption related to the Garlasco case, lasted about four hours. Andrea Sempio’s former lawyer reiterated what he had said from the start, namely that he received black money (around 15 thousand euros) from the Sempio family for his role. At the end of the hearing, Lovati – who was waited outside the Palace of Justice in Brescia by his lawyer, Fabrizio Gallo – reported that he understood that two other of Sempio’s former lawyers would confirm his version. In an interview with the Fourth Level correspondent on his way out of the Palace of Justice, Sempio’s former lawyer also explained that the defense advice of Alberto Stasi, who was sentenced to definitively 16 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, had become known to several people in December 2016 and had been widely reported in the media.
