My TV broke a few months ago. Suddenly the screen freezes, then colorful stripes appear, then black. One day I was upset because he was only five years old, while my parents had the same thing for decades. But before I get lost in the excitement of planned obsolescence, I’ve browsed the electronics retailer’s website. How fitting that the television buying season in general is drawing closer to Black Friday.

“Who needs television today?” you may ask. Maybe I’m old-fashioned or uneducated, but I like TV. The tablet is too small for me to watch series and since I love playing on consoles (you know, I do it for a living), I still need a screen.
