Kiev, ‘one person killed in nighttime drone strike in Dnipro’ – Il Tempo

Kiev, November 15 (Adnkronos/Dpa) – At least one person was killed and others injured in a violent Russian drone strike in eastern Ukraine’s Dnipro region. Regional governor Vladyslav Hayvanenko reported this on Telegram. Some fires broke out in the Dnipro region’s capital, but damage was also reported to homes and private cars in the smaller towns of Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Synelnykove, as well as in the Myrove district.

Russia also reported damage caused by Ukrainian drone strikes. Although the military reported that 64 drones were shot down over Russian territory, Ryazan Governor Pavel Malkov confirmed at least one impact. “Falling debris caused a fire on the territory of a company,” Malkov wrote on Telegram, adding that there were no casualties and the extent of the damage was still being assessed. According to the Astra internet portal, the company in question is a refinery.

Ukraine systematically attacks oil and gas processing facilities in Russia. The aim was to disrupt the Russian army’s fuel supply and make it difficult to finance the war through exports.
