Grave bonus and VAT reduction on dog food, micro-budget amendments – News

36% reduction for maintenance, restoration and renovation of tombs, chapels and mausoleums, VAT reduced to 10% for special food prescribed by veterinarians for pets, establishment of the “National Sleep and Respiratory Program” aimed at promoting prevention, early diagnosis and integrated management of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. These are some of the micro-proposals that emerged from the maneuver’s substantial dossier of amendments.

The idea of 10% VAT on dog and cat food came from Noi Moderates, while the concession for building family graves was put forward by Forza Italia, as was the sleep program put forward by Claudio Lotito.

The Azzurri also requested financing of 500,000 euros for the restoration of the historic building complex Palazzo Portinari, the adjacent Portinari Tower, the connecting Loggia and the Conti Guidi Castle, as well as the Dante and Beatrice Gardens, located in the municipality of Portico and San Benedetto in the province of Forlì-Cesena, to be used as a venue for public activities for the spread of culture and for the organization Nuovo Polo Culturale Dante and Beatrice.

Another 100,000 euros is calculated for the establishment of an educational museum of local arts and traditions also in the province of Forlì-Cesena.

Forza Italia also asked for a donation of 200 thousand euros to the survivors of civilian victims who died “as a result of criminal acts of a political nature committed against Italian citizens, committed on national territory in the years 1970 to 1979”.
