This year also – from December 6 to 8 – the town of Peccioli, in Tuscany, hosted a weekend of book presentations and public meetings that the Peccioliper Foundation called “A book Christmas for you”, and which was planned and curated by Luca Sofri, also editorial director of Post. And this year too Post collaborated on the program with its journalists and with the promotion of the event, which was held mainly in the reception room and theater of the Palazzo Senza Tempo, but also in other places in Peccioli. In addition to the program of meetings, which you can find below, there will also be the usual “big bookstore” of the province’s sixteen bookstores, with offers for residents and visitors thanks to an agreement with the Peccioliper Foundation and its ambitions to “push read and at the same time support local bookstores: Peccioli residents will be able to purchase books with support from the Municipality of Peccioli and the Foundation of 50%, and non-residents will be able to benefit from support of 25%”.
This year’s program will feature Viola Ardone, Massimo Gramellini, Domenico Starnone, Enrico Mentana, Daria Bignardi, Michela Marzano, Emanuele Trevi, Mauro Corona, Teresa Ciabatti, Maurizio de Giovanni, Mariangela Gualtieri, Dario Bressanini and others in Peccioli. Represent Post – together with Luca Sofri – you will find Francesco Costa, Luca Misculin, Eugenio Cau, Beatrice Mautino, Stefano Nazzi, Marino Sinibaldi, Giacomo Papi, Matteo Caccia and Claudio Caprara. There will be the usual press review “The newspaper explains it well”, and a presentation of the latest issue of the magazine Everything is explained well and from PlaylistLatest publication of the Altricose project.
For the second year, “A Natale libri per te” will then host the proclamation and award ceremony of the Vero Prize winners, the result of a vote by 250 subscribers Post involved and Peccioli’s non-fiction reading group.
