Police inspected office buildings, bars and discos at the Steintorviertel in Hanover on Sunday evening. No arrests.
During a raid on organized crime at the Steintorviertel in Hanover, police checked several places in the red light district at night. Five expulsions were issued and several investigations were launched into illegal weapons possession and gambling, police announced in a statement.
The guards in particular, who police said had close contacts with the criminal organization at Steintorviertel, were the focus of the probe. Emergency services checked bars, discos and brothels. No arrests were made in the raid.
