Video Analytics | The dilemmas regarding the revocation of the mandate

There are two central debates that emerge on the issue of the revocation of the mandate in Mexico: one concerns above all the governing party and the other, the opposition, on the former.

The debate is deepened by the intention of the so-called 4Ts to bring forward the revocation process which, according to the Constitution and the federal law on revocation of the mandate, should have taken place in 2028 – more or less towards the middle of the six-year period -, but the intention of Morena and allies is to make it coincide with the 2027 mid-term elections.

In these elections, 17 new governors and the entire Chamber of Deputies will be elected, among other positions. It’s a huge choice.
