After a mostly cloudy Saturday, the weekend will take a different turn, according to German Weather Service (DWD) appears cloudier and slightly cooler than before. A DWD meteorologist predicted that the sun would not be visible, despite mostly dry weather. Experts predict maximum temperatures of between 10 degrees in the High Rhine to Upper Swabia region and 14 degrees in the northern part of the Upper Rhine and Neckar.
And then it got really cold
This is all just the beginning of the cold weather that Baden-Württemberg will have to prepare for starting Monday. The temperature drops between 5 and 9 degrees, in the mountains around 3 degrees. At first there will be heavy rain, at an altitude above 800 meters the rain changes to snowfall. There will also be some rain or sleet in the afternoon, and snow showers in the mountains. However, the snow did not stay still.
The weather will remain cold on Tuesday, but brighter, with temperatures between 1 degree in the higher mountains and 7 degrees on the Rhine and Neckar.
Wednesday night will be very cold for all plants: lows are expected to fall between minus 1 and minus 4 degrees, and in the mountains even as low as minus 6 degrees.
