Frederic Vosgröne – The next “Neanderthal” fight has been decided | sport

Martial arts fans finally want to see HIM back in the cage!

For weeks, MMA sympathizers in Germany have been muttering about when Frederic “Neanderthaler” Vosgröne will fight again – and, most importantly, where? Now everything is moving.

In an Instagram story, Vosgröne briefly and succinctly announced “The contract has been signed.” Since then there has been speculation on social networks.

Some people think Vosgröne will leave OKTAGON MMA and fight with FNC (the leading MMA organization in Southeast Europe) instead. Others even speculated a move to UFC (the best MMA league in the world).

BILD can now report exclusively: Vosgröne will fight at OKTAGON 83 on January 31 in Stuttgart (Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle). The opponent has been determined: previously undefeated Samuel Chavarría (24/Honduras). Niko Samsonidze (featherweight title shot) and Alina Dalaslan will also fight at the event.

The duel is not in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kilograms), but in the catchweight division. Both parties are said to have agreed on 87 kilograms. Background: Vosgröne would like to compete again in the middleweight division (up to 84 kg) in the future.

Recently there have been repeated rumors on the German MMA scene that “Neanderthal” will never fight again for OKTAGON MMA. The reason: a dispute between him and the MMA league.

Vosgröne publicly criticized her boyfriend and one of her coaches for being thrown out of the cage while celebrating her win in Frankfurt in October. He later stated, “I don’t know if I want to fight for the Octagon anymore. I get treated like a fool every time I’m at an event!”

Everything now seems to have calmed down. Also a fact: According to BILD information, Vosgröne still has two fights to complete under the umbrella of the organization according to his contract with OKTAGON MMA.

What happens next remains completely open…
