Rome, November 16 (Adnkronos) – “In the most difficult phase for Ukraine, when the resistance of the oppressed people is being tested, support for Kiev must be conveyed to the Assembly immediately, in the light of day. There has never been any doubt or wavering: the defense of democracy and international law is not a negotiable point or a basis for balancing acts among the majority. President Meloni must say clearly whether he is with Europe or with the League.” Democratic Party Senator Simona Malpezzi asked.
“Tell me – he added – whether you support the Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom or with the brutal aggression of Putin’s Russia. Say whether you prefer to continue turning a blind eye to the League’s shameful positions. Parliament must be in a position to choose: who supports the freedom and resistance of the Ukrainian people and who, on the contrary, prefers to turn a blind eye to Russian aggression. The time for half-talk is over.”
