According to DWD, the weather will be partly cloudy to very cloudy on Monday. Torrential rain and hail poured down from the North Sea. Short-term thunderstorms are also possible, especially in coastal areas, and snowfall in the Upper Harz. Rain will ease as the day progresses, except along the coast. The temperature in the Upper Harz was around 3 degrees, about 6 degrees east of the Weser and between 7 and 9 degrees west of the Weser, as also announced by meteorologists.
On Tuesday night it will still be cloudy to partly cloudy. There are showers, especially on the coast, which fall as snowfall in the Harz Mountains. The lowest values are 6 degrees on the islands, 4 to 0 degrees inland, and -3 degrees in the Upper Harz.
Unstable weather with snowfall in Upper Harz
According to DWD, unstable weather will continue on Tuesday. The weather was very cloudy with occasional rain, and snow was increasing in the Upper Harz. Temperatures reached 5 degrees in the mountains and the Harz, 6 degrees inland and 8 degrees on the islands.
Wednesday night will remain cloudy with lots of rain, with snowfall in the Upper Harz. Lowest temperatures dropped to 4 degrees on the islands, to 3 to 1 degree inland, and to -2 degrees in the Upper Harz.
Temperatures continue to fall towards the middle of the week
As time goes by, the weather will continue to change and get a little cooler. During the day, temperatures range between 2 and 4 degrees inland, around 6 degrees on the coast, and around 0 degrees in the Upper Harz.
