The end of the marriage of former Roma captain, Francesco Totti, and presenter Ilary Blasi will come next spring, on the equinox day of March 21. On that date – according to what Il Messaggero wrote – a hearing was scheduled before the civil court of the capital that was supposed to represent the final judicial juncture ending the relationship between the two, protagonists of a long sentimental saga in which, however, there were moments of storm and clashes.
The trial before the civil judge began on October 24, 2022. Since that day, the fight has been without a hitch. Last April, personal trainer Cristiano Iovino, 36, was heard in a short audition, which lasted more than twenty minutes, and confirmed that a “true and intense romantic relationship” would occur between him and Ilary in 2020. The witness, presented by the footballer’s former defender, added that at that time Ilary had confessed to him that his marriage was already in serious crisis. A reconstruction that has been challenged in the past by Blasi who stated that between him and Iovino there would be no history except mere acquaintance. Currently Totti pays his ex-wife 12,500 euros a month but the showgirl is asking for 24 thousand euros and aims to earn at least 18 thousand euros.
The “Rolex war” over the ‘management’ of the couple’s four luxury chronographs ran parallel to the divorce proceedings. This also became the attention of the judges. In June 2023, a judge ruled that the watches should remain in the hands of Blasi and Totti. What is being determined is not a matter of ownership but ownership of the watch, the return of which has been requested by the former Giallorossi captain.
However, problem number 10 doesn’t seem to be limited to his relationship with his ex-wife. Totti and his new partner Naomi Bocchi decided to leave the 270 square meter penthouse in the North Roma area where they moved, renting, about three years ago. The sudden separation is related to the problem of intrusion in the mega apartment and will lead to disputes with the penthouse owner.
Transfer to the nearby Orti della Farnesina area will take place immediately. There the ‘Captain’ will be able to continue cultivating his love of padel. A sport shared with his son, Cristian, who, according to Repubblica, he founded a company that allows him to access public funding for youth businesses. The money will be used to build a padel center in the via della Magliana area, in the southern quadrant of the capital.
