Rome, 17 November (Adnkronos) – The Supreme Defense Council, which met for more than three hours in the Quirinale under the chairmanship of the head of state, Sergio Mattarella, discussed the “critical situation in Libya and the Sahel. These are important areas for the security of the European continent”. The Council expressed “strong concern over the continuation of the civil war in Sudan, which is causing a very serious humanitarian crisis.
