Orange warning in Friuli Venezia Giulia, yellow in 11 regions. This is what the Civil Protection communicated, also reporting the arrival of rain in the central-south. The disrupted front of Atlantic origin, after affecting northern Italy and Tuscany, continues its transit down to the central-southern regions, bringing scattered precipitation, including thunderstorms, which tomorrow will be more intense and abundant among the downstream regions of Lazio, Molise and the southern Tyrrhenian sector of the Peninsula. Based on available forecasts, the Civil Protection Department – ​​in cooperation with the regions involved, which is responsible for activating civil protection systems in the affected areas – has issued a warning of severe weather conditions.

The warning predicts rain or thunderstorms in the south of Lazio, Molise and Campania from the early hours of tomorrow, Tuesday 18 November, then extending to Basilicata and Calabria, especially in the relevant Tyrrhenian sector. This phenomenon will be accompanied by heavy rain, frequent electrical activity and strong wind gusts. Based on the expected and ongoing phenomena, an orange warning has been assessed for tomorrow, Tuesday 18 November, in parts of Friuli Venezia Giulia and a yellow warning in the entire regions of Calabria, Molise, as well as in the sectors of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Puglia, Campania, Basilicata and Sicily.
