In the first half of 2025, there will be a decrease in traffic accident victims on Italian roads. This is in accordance with the provisional data released by the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI) and Istat: from January to June 1,310 people died as a result of accidents, 6.8% less than in the same period in 2024. There were also fewer injured victims (111,090, -1.2%) and accidents with injuries (82,344, -1.3%). It’s a trend that confirms, albeit slowly, a path that has been underway for some time.
