The A45 was temporarily closed on Monday due to the discovery of two women’s hands. Now there is a new development: Although there is no trace of the woman, it has now been revealed that her baby has been in the care of the authorities for days. As announced by the public prosecutor’s office and Hagen police, the three-month-old baby was found on Sunday in front of a convent in Hesse.
According to the newspaper “Bild”, the place of discovery was the Kröffelbach monastery. A monk found the baby in a stroller and immediately called emergency services.
According to the newspaper, there were two pieces of paper with the child: one with the child’s date of birth, another with the mother’s name.
Authorities had previously announced that the woman’s identity was being determined. He is a 32 year old Eritrean. She and her child are registered in asylum accommodation in Bonn.
