Rome, November 18 (Adnkronos) – “Italy is stuck in stagnation and is expected to be second of the 27 Union countries in terms of growth in 2026, continuing to decline compared to other European countries. Without the Pnrr, which was not elected by the Fratelli d’Italia, we would already have slipped into recession”. That was said by Antonio Misiani, Head of the Economic Section of the Democratic Party Secretariat.
“The country is at a standstill, paralyzed by a completely inadequate and fruitless economic policy. And while the economy stagnates, the government resorts to its usual methods: the cleverly designed controversy over the Quirinale, attacks on independent institutions, the rise of Differentiated Autonomy and even the hypothesis of a new development amnesty, all actions carried out solely on the basis of electoral calculations. Faced with such a serious picture, it is intolerable for the majority to waste time and energy on maneuvers that divert attention rather than actually dealing with growth, jobs and services. Propaganda: the country needs concrete answers, not another political theater.”
