A Hessian wins the Eurojackpot. With five correct numbers he won a huge amount of money. But the huge prize remains unclaimed.
A lottery player from Hesse scored a big win in the Eurojackpot draw on Tuesday night. With five correct numbers without a euro number, he reached the third prize category and earned 191,831.50 euros.
The first and second prize categories remained vacant in Friday’s drawing. Meaning: The Eurojackpot will continue to increase in the next draws.
Players pay two euros per field typed, and a one-time processing fee is also charged per ticket. In addition to the classic paper tickets at lottery acceptance points, those interested have other options: The federal state lottery company and the t-online lottery service offer practical online participation. Submission deadlines vary by state and end on Tuesdays and Fridays.
In Helsinki, Eurojackpot draws are held twice a week under police supervision. The minimum jackpot is ten million euros, while the maximum win is 120 million euros. Players must correctly predict five numbers between 1 and 50 and two Euro numbers between 1 and 12 for the top prize. The odds of winning the top prize (class 1 prize) are 1:139,838,160. In the lowest prize class (class 12), two correct main numbers plus one correct Euro number will result in a win – with odds of 1:49.
