Ludwig Erhard would be scared today. Our infrastructure is dilapidated. We regularly make school downgrades. We are unable to defend ourselves. If adjusted for inflation, the economy experienced stagnation for six years. While Switzerland leads the 2025 Global Innovation Index as the most innovative country, Germany is not in the top ten. We have become a country full of complexity, despair, inertia, noise and little initiative.
