Change to “Always on Sundays”

Stefan Mross started his show “Always on Sundays” differently next year. This involves changes in the usual broadcasting process.
According to SWR, initial filming for the hit show “Always on Sundays” will take place on May 31, 2026 – about two weeks earlier than 2025. A total of twelve live editions are planned for the upcoming season. Sunday’s show with presenter Stefan Mross will be produced as usual at Europa-Park in Rust.
The new season also brings two permanent breaks. There are no broadcasts scheduled for July 26 or August 16, 2026. All other dates are spread evenly over the summer months and look like this:
Such an early start to a season is nothing new in the show’s history. This series started a little earlier than usual in 2012. Timing decisions are apparently always adjusted to organizational conditions. This could be related to Europa-Park’s occupancy plans, the structure of the ARD program, or the Mross schedule.
Stefan Mross has hosted “Always on Sundays” for more than 20 years and is therefore a reliable figure on German television for many viewers. The musician has recently shown himself to be less loyal in his professional life. Mross canceled an event he was scheduled to host just hours before it was scheduled to start.
In addition to the TV series, a related tour will continue next year. After being postponed due to the pandemic, the stage program will tour Germany from March 25 2026 – including Nicole, Claudia Jung, Joey Heindle, Kristina Bach and Michael Holm.
