Following the deaths of 13 people in an Israeli attack on a refugee camp in southern Lebanon – considered by the IDF to be a Palestinian Hamas training camp – tensions between the two countries continue to rise. This Wednesday, the Israeli army asked residents to evacuate areas of buildings that house, according to them, military installations of the Islamic movement Hezbollah in two villages in southern Lebanon. While announcing his intention to attack them immediately.
“(Israeli) forces will soon attack military infrastructure belonging to the terrorist group Hezbollah in various areas in southern Lebanon, in response to the organization’s illegal attempts to re-establish itself in the region,” announced Colonel Avichay Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army in a message in Arabic on X.
Officers appealed to the public to immediately evacuate the two buildings whose locations were mentioned, accompanied by supporting maps, in the villages of Deir Kifa and Chahour.
