After a temporary separation, Konstantin Wecker is now back in a relationship with his wife. While he was in a relationship with a minor, the couple talked about love on a talk show.

March 11, 2011: On this day, songwriter Konstantin Wecker is said to have met a 15-year-old boy. The woman who is now 30 years old has now announced this in the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”. Therefore, the two met directly in the hotel bar after Wecker’s concert in Worpswede near Bremen. This is where the relationship between the teenager and the man who was 63 years old began. Wecker also made several public appearances with his wife Annik in 2011.

For example, on September 13, 2011, Konstantin and Annik Wecker were guests on Markus Lanz’s ZDF talk show. Side by side, they talk about their love, explaining how they got through the dark years together. Just a few months after he met the minor and asked her on the first night if she wanted to come to his hotel room. At times the woman, called Johanna in “Süddeutsche”, traveled behind him all over Germany to attend his concerts to meet him.

But although Wecker’s family appeared in public and spoke about their relationship, the artist told “SZ” through his lawyer: “He and his wife were separated during the mentioned phase about 15 years ago – and not only spatially.” The couple’s separation only became known in 2013.

In June 2013, Annik Wecker confirmed in “Bild”: “We have been separated for a long time, but we continue to live together. It is going well.” There is no explicit mention of spatial separation here. The tabloid reported at the time that, on the one hand, his busy schedule and, on the other, his professional success had led to the end of the marriage. Annik Wecker managed her own cafe in Munich, worked as a successful cake book author and won several awards.

Or is Wecker’s relationship with Johanna the reason? In the “Süddeutsche” it is said that this came to light in the summer of 2012, “apparently because someone saw messages on Wecker’s cell phone.” Is that Annik Wecker? Unclear.

It is also unclear when exactly she and Konstantin Wecker met again. In 2013, the two were seen together as mourners at a funeral. In 2016 they posed holding hands at a summer party in Munich. Wecker dedicated his book “For Love’s Sake,” published in September 2025, to his wife and son.
