A woman from America found her new home in a tiny house. It offered what he was looking for: sunshine, tranquility and proximity to a pool.
“I immediately felt at home”
Haley found a small house in the backyard of a building in Los Angeles through the filters and map function of Zillow, a US real estate platform. The owner, Kristina, greeted them kindly with her dog.
The small room is simple but full of sunlight and, most importantly, quiet. “There was no kitchen or closet, but I immediately felt at home,” he wrote in his article for Business Insider. “The tiny house is perfect for me.”
This small building offers many practical amenities such as a refrigerator, shower, and access to a washer and dryer. Haley arranged the room according to her needs. He built storage space under the bed and above the refrigerator and created space for a kitchenette.
The landlady’s husband had the idea to make a tiny house
Your new house is located in the backyard which has a garden and is also close to the swimming pool. Haley enjoyed the sun by the water and chatted with Kristina. The American felt grateful for his new apartment and his friendship with his landlady.
The idea for the house originally came from Kristina’s late husband, Peter. “I never met him, but I thank him every day. He instilled ideas that allowed me to feel peace and togetherness,” Haley said.
There is no room for guests, making family visits and meeting friends difficult. Visitors often stay away because the space is too small. “What I saved on utilities and furniture, I paid for in lost invitations, family gatherings, and lost togetherness,” Amber said.
