There were two incidents involving dog bites in Baden-Württemberg that left minors injured. On a playground in Rheinfelden (Lörrach district), a five-year-old girl was bitten on the arm by a German Shepherd – she ran towards her sister, said a police spokesman.
At this time, a 16-year-old child was walking at the entrance to the playground with his nine-month-old German Shepherd, and the animal snapped. The child can be treated on an outpatient basis. The dog is also said to have bitten the jacket of a passerby, who was the man, when he arrived POLICE but was no longer on site on Tuesday.
There were also dog bites in Mannheim
In other cases in Mannheim A dog bit a teenager’s face in the street when he bent down to pick up his mobile phone, which he dropped. At that time suddenly a dog came towards him and attacked him.
The 15-year-old was able to fight off the animal and escape back to his home. He then went to the hospital with his mother. Two bite wounds were stitched there.
It is not known exactly where the dog came from – and it is also unclear whether the dog’s owner was nearby when the incident occurred on Wednesday. Police are now looking for witnesses.
