Rome, 20 November (askanews) – “Roma Arte in Nuvola” returns with its fifth edition from 21 to 23 November in the La Nuvola space designed by Massimiliano Fuksas. More than 140 exhibitors participated in this year’s International Exhibition of Modern and Contemporary Art, with offerings ranging from historic avant-garde works of art to the latest artistic expressions. As usual, the ground floor hosts a long-standing gallery, with works of modern art by the great masters, and on the top floor there is space for a new reality to emerge, which provides more room for experimentation.
This Roman event is a response to the growing interest in contemporary art and is aimed at an increasingly large and diverse audience, so much so that last year recorded more than 38,000 visitors. Creator and organizer of “Arte in Nuvola” Alessandro Nicosia explains: “Today we achieved the goal of the fifth edition, which was to offer the city a great party, come here, spend two hours. Love for art must be born from the interior, from what can be understood, felt, whether a little or not at all, and I believe that in a dramatic moment like the one we are experiencing, that can only be done well”.
This year, two special projects will welcome visitors at the entrance to the Nuvola: the exhibition dedicated to Gino Marotta, “Artificial Universe”, with a selection of figures from the Relief and Metacrilati series, and a tribute to Mario Airò with “Between water and light”, with a selection of works highlighting light, from Aurora to Water modeling. The guest country this edition is the Republic of Korea, with “Fever State”. On display is not only contemporary art from Asian countries, whose names are already known on the international stage, but also innovative practices and new talents from young Korean artists.
