Rome, November 20 (askanews) – Audience given by the President of the Republic, Hon. Prof. Sergio Mattarella, to the delegation of AGIS – General Italian Entertainment Association, taking place this morning, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of its founding.
Assomusica, as a member association, took part in the institutional meeting with the presence of its President, Carlo Parodi, together with representatives of the main realities of the live entertainment sector.
The discussion held at the Quirinale was a moment of recognition of the cultural, economic and social role that the world of entertainment plays in the country, as well as an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of structural policies that are able to guarantee continuity, continuity and innovation in the sector.
President Carlo Parodi, on the sidelines of the initiative, stated: To be here today, at such an important moment as the 80th anniversary of AGIS, is a recognition not only of the history of Italian entertainment, but also of the daily commitment to the reality of which it is a part. The attention of the President of the Republic confirms the public value of our work: live music is a cultural and economic engine that engages millions of people and thousands of professionals. It is important to continue building, together, a more solid, modern and inclusive system, capable of supporting the growth of the sector and increasing its impact on the country.
Assomusica renews its commitment by actively collaborating in growth and social cohesion, through its daily activities, to promote the live music sector, strengthen this sector and contribute to the definition of policies that support its development.
