Consumer sentiment in the euro area remains at a low level. Like the previous month, the consumer climate barometer fell 14.2 points in November, according to an EU Commission survey.
Inflation in the eurozone fell slightly in October. Prices of goods and services rose an average of 2.1 percent compared to the same month last year. In September the inflation rate increased to 2.2 percent.
Thus, inflation is approaching the European Central Bank’s (ECB) target of two percent.
