Rome, November 20 (Adnkronos Salute) – “There are many reasons that prompted us to bring the documentary about Parkinson’s to cinemas. The main one is knowledge: we need greater and deeper knowledge about the topic of Parkinson’s. That’s how Giangi Milesi, president of the Italian Parkinson Confederation, commented on the arrival of a special version of the documentary ‘Dialogues with Mr. Parkinson’ in more than 320 Italian cinemas, on November 29 and 30, for the National Day dedicated to the disease.
“Very often – continues Milesi – people with Parkinson’s personify their disease, that is, they enter into a dialogue with their disease: they ‘send it to hell’, they use swear words or use nicknames. The best attitude for us is to follow the anger with a more mature behavior, more able to manage the situation”. Using journalist Vincenzo Mollica’s words for pathology in the documentary, the president of the Italian Parkinson’s Confederation warned that “anger must be controlled.”
