A passerby found a woman’s body in Forstenrieder Park

While taking a walk in Forstenrieder Park, a man made a terrible discovery. A dead woman lies some distance from the road. The police did not rule out the possibility of acts of violence.

A passerby made a gruesome discovery in Forstenrieder Park on Thursday afternoon. As a police spokesperson confirmed to the t-online Munich editorial team, the body of a woman was found in a forest area southwest of Munich.

Since a violent crime could not be ruled out due to the circumstances in which the suspect was found, the homicide team took over the case. Currently investigators and forensic officers are at the location.

As further announced by the spokesperson, the dead woman apparently had not been lying in Forstenrieder Park for too long. The hiker found it somewhat secluded on the trail.

At first it was unclear who the dead woman was. It is still unclear how long the body was at the location. Police were unable to provide any further information tonight.
