The investigation is ongoing. Three people were charged Thursday evening in the investigation into the death of a man, who was killed by multiple knife wounds Tuesday in Cusset (Allier), prosecutors said.
The alleged perpetrator, aged 24, was charged with murder after admitting the facts, the same source said. He was detained.
The victim, aged 29, was stabbed several times in the chest and died “a short time later” at around 3.45pm, prosecutor Françoise Mariaux-Audran told AFP. The incident occurred on the street, according to him as part of a “quarrel”.
Two people were released after being detained by police
The victim, like the alleged perpetrator, is known to the court. The motive was a romantic “dispute,” according to prosecutors.
