Special operations team POLICE arrested a man in Schaumburg County who was said to have previously fired shots from a residential building. A warning issued to the public following the incident in the town of Lindhorst was lifted after the 43-year-old man was arrested, police announced late last night. All barriers were dismantled around midnight.
Police were alerted Thursday night because the man was said to have fired several shots from a home in the community west of Hanover. Residents were then advised not to leave their apartments and houses.
According to police, the defendant was injured – it is still unclear whether the injuries were caused during the arrest. When asked, the police did not provide further information. It is simply said that no one except him is harmed.
