She started her career in 2009 on the music channel MTV and quickly became known for her cheerful personality. Palina Rojinski has now made a name for herself as a presenter and actress and is often seen on TV.
However, this 40 year old woman firmly keeps her personal problems a secret from the public, especially regarding her love life. Almost nothing is known about their relationship. Now Palina Rojinski herself is taking issue with her ex-partner – for sad reasons.
“November 25th is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women,” she began her latest Instagram post and revealed: “I don’t think I’ve ever said this publicly – but I experienced violence from my partner even at a young age.” It was a “difficult time” in his life and he didn’t want to admit it at first.
“I thought it was ‘unintentional and a one-time thing or a big exception’ and I looked for the blame in myself,” the moderator recalled. “I suffered physical and psychological abuse. And I felt ashamed of it. I thought there was something wrong with me and I needed to ‘behave better’.”
Her partner’s behavior becomes increasingly worse and affects her entire life. “Because I often had a lot of bruises and visible marks, I rarely left the house. I stopped contacting my big friends and disappeared,” said Palina. Even though he was very afraid, he confided in his friends and finally separated.
She is now sharing this story to encourage others affected. “Violence against women and girls has no social boundaries. If you feel the same way right now – I want to give you strength and encourage you to do something about your situation. You don’t have to endure it and you can get help,” appealed Palina.
He wants to use his social media platform – which is followed by more than three million people – to raise awareness of the issue. “You are not alone,” stressed the 40-year-old and published several help centers in the article.
